Powerade’s World Cup presence focused heavily on brand awareness rather than driving their campaign. While the brand showed up across high-visibility touchpoints, its “Power Your Legacy” narrative was not carried through.
In response, I developed a pitchside board concept using After Effects, reimagining how dynamic creative could transform the brands presence into storytelling moments aligned with the campaign.

Design Decision Breakdown
I started by using the iconic bright turquoise with the brand name in big bold letters.

From there, I introduced a flicker effect to push the glitch language forward. This was inspired by the way the glitch was used at the end of the Power Your Legacy spot with Lamine Yamal. I wanted that to connect these boards back into the bigger theme of cementing a legacy. Within the same theme, I added in the same anime style drawing, watercolour effect, and a monotone old-school style that was also in the Power Your Legacy spot.

The background itself is a footy-style soccer net so it feels rooted in the sport and is a visual reminder that for many players this all started back with footy.
I brought in the Power Your Legacy slogan and kept it aligned with the brand design that was already created using the same fonts and styling. I chose not to use the additional slogans like Level up to Legendary or Official Sports Drinks because I wanted to focus on one thing that people could remember; using the slogan that includes the word power maximizes brand affiliation.

I made POWER YOUR italicized so the focus shifts more into LEGACY. Instead of showing the full bottles, I used a more zoomed-in area of the bottle because the larger size for visibility matters much more than seeing the full bottle.
The full transition is 7.5 seconds, which means it can be repeated twice over a 15 second display or just once with the static Powerade logo being used for the rest of it. The pitch board achieves multiple goals: keep the Powerade name visible almost the entire time so brand affiliation never drops off, bring in the actual Power Your Legacy slogan, and use effects that feel connected to the campaign instead of just adding animation for the sake of it.
