Speak Org
When I started university, I noticed that many students including myself struggled with social confidence. Simple day-to-day interactions, like small talk or presentations, often felt anxiety-inducing yet these skills were vital for success in school, careers, and relationships. In my first year, there wasn’t a space where students could practice communicating without fear of judgment, so I founded Speak, a student-led nonprofit that helps young people build real-world communication skills. Today we've reached 1000s of students and reached over 250K+ on socials!

We designed a full year of event programming focusing on accessibility, community and usefulness in the real world. Some of our events include networking for beginners, mock interview nights, and pitch competitions creating opportunities for students to practice communication in both professional and casual settings.
